(1995) He acted in Harold Pinter's play, "The Hothouse," in a 1995 Chichester Festival Production at the Comedy Theatre in London, England with Harold Pinter, John Shrapnel, Robert East, Celia Imrie, Tony Haygarth, Roland Oliver, and Peter Blythe in the cast. David Jones was director.

(1989) He acted in Ronald Harwood's play, "Another Time," at the Wyndham's Theatre in London, England with Albert Finney, Janet Suzman, Sara Kestelman, and David De Keyser in the cast.

(1995) He acted in Terrence Rattigan's play, "in Praise of Love," at the Apollo Theatre in London, England with Peter Bowles, Lisa Harrow, and Ray Lonnen in the cast. Richard Olivier was director.

(Also in 2015) Christien starred in "Permanence" which also starred Samantha Michelle. The play was at the Actors Temple, in London, where they had a sell our run.

(In 2015) Christien appeared in Simon Stephen's "Bluebird" at the Tabard Theatre, in Chiswick and received some excellent reviews.

(January 2016) Christien appeared at the Above the Arts Theatre, Leicester Square, London, in "The Two Faces of Agent Lacey" for which he received some excellent reviews.

(May/June 2016) Christien starred in Wastwater, which received amazing reviews. He also made his directorial debut, which was also highly praised.
