Biography

Older brother of Kurt Angle.

Formerly engaged to Nidia Guenard.

He made 4 appearances on WWE; the first helping his brother defeat The Undertaker at Survivor Series 2000, and appearing the following night on Raw is War, being attacked by Undertaker. He next appeared on an episode of SmackDown! in March 2003 to help Kurt Angle defeat Brock Lesnar; he got beaten up in place of Kurt to allow Kurt to come in fresh, defeat Lesnar, and retain his WWE Championship title. His last appearance on SmackDown! a week later saw Eric at his brother's side, and he was once again attacked by Lesnar. This time Kurt saved him by using his crutch.

For a short while he had a developmental contract with WWE and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling to sharpen his skills until his release in 2003. In 2002 he tore a ligament in his arm causing him to have nine surgeries before returning. During his time as a wrestler he would often use his brothers finishing move, the "Angle Slam", as his own signature throw.

Like his brother, Eric was also an amateur wrestler in High School and College.
