Biography

Darrell A. Anderson was born on November 20, 1921 in Humboldt County, California, USA. He is known for Superman (1978), The Invaders (1967) and Tripoli (1950). He died on May 4, 2014.

He and his brother Howard A. Anderson created starfields for Star Trek (1966) and invented a photographic technique that enhanced the illusion of people being "beamed" from and to the starship Enterprise.
