Biography

Axel Anderson was born on December 11, 1929 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor and production manager, known for The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), Casablanca (1942) and Bananas (1971). He was married to Helena Montalbán. He died on December 16, 2012 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In 1936, when he was young, his family escaped the Holocaust by emigrating to Paraguay. Due to political instability in Paraguay, Anderson's family soon moved to Argentina.

He started his acting career when he was a teenager.
