Biography

Andy Anderson was born on July 13, 1946. He was a director and writer, known for Positive I.D. (1986), Interface (1984) and Detention (1998). He died on March 17, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

Taught filmmaking courses at the University of Texas, Arlington.

From 1995 to 2005, Andy was Chairman of the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Arlington. He had first joined the faculty there in 1976 as a photography instructor. He retired as a full professor in 2011.
