Biography

Garth Ancier was born on September 3, 1957 in New Jersey, USA. He is a producer and actor, known for The Bay (2010), Ricki Lake (1992) and For the Bible Tells Me So (2007).

Graduate of Princeton University (Class of 1979).

Formerly head of programming when the FOX network first debuted in 1987. He reported to Barry Diller, who was the then head of Twentieth Century-Fox Studios.

Formerly the President of Entertainment at NBC (1999).

Currently the President & CEO of the Warner Bros (The WB) Television Network, replacing former network honcho Jordan Levin.

Got his start in broadcasting when the then NBC head, Brandon Tartikoff (who is known for bringing the network back to prominence with hits such as The Cosby Show, Knight Rider, and The A-Team) heard about his student radio show at Princeton University via an article in People Magazine. He was then hired as Tartikoff's assistant.
