Biography

Nina Ananiashvili was born on March 28, 1963 in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, USSR. She is an actress, known for Return of the Firebird: The Firebird, Petrushka, Scheherazade (2002), Spartacus (1991) and Swan Lake (1994). She has been married to Grigol Vashazde since 1998. They have two children.

She was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 2000 (1999 season) for Outstanding Achievement in Dance for her performance in The Bolshoi Ballet's Don Quixote.
