Max Amann was born on 24 November 1891 in Munich, Germany. He was an actor, known for The Laughing Third Party (1936) and Triumph of the Will (1935). He was married to Anna. He died on 30 March 1957 in Munich, Germany.

Became chairman of the German Nazi Party in 1922, and president of the Reichspressekammer [Reich media chamber] in 1933.

Sentenced to ten years in a labour camp on the 8th of September, 1948.
