Silvio Amadio was born on 8 August 1926 in Frascati, Lazio, Italy. He was a writer and director, known for Wolves of the Deep (1959), So Young, So Lovely, So Vicious... (1975) and Assassination in Rome (1965). He died on 19 May 1995 in Rome, Italy.

Between 1959 and 1981 he directed over twenty films, also writing the screenplays for many of them.
