Lúcia Alves was born on October 4, 1948 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was an actress, known for Bendito Fruto (2004), Irmãos Coragem (1970) and Golden Years (1986). She was married to Fred Schleisinger. She died on April 24, 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Daughter of banker Almir Alves da Silva and psychologist Edy Pinheiro Alves, Lúcia's first desire was to follow her mother's career and run a school for children with Down syndrome. Years later, the carioca actress would however go into speech therapy.
