  • Acknowledged as an animation industry expert, Natalie Altmann launched her production company, Media Valley in 2010. Based in Paris, Media Valley is specialized in the development and production of high-end children and family projects, either for cinema or television, targeting the international market.

    Within Media Valley, Natalie Altmann has produced to date six animated series, totaling 380 episodes - both in CGI and 2D - that are aired internationally and reaching top audiences on each of their respective commissioning channel. Natalie Altmann has also launched a slate of live action developments for prime-time series and has produced in 2024 for CBBC and NDR (ARD network) her first kid live action series, Gifted (10 x 28’), in co production with the Scottish production company Black Camel Pictures.

    On top of developing her own IPs, Natalie Altmann has been working as an advisor and an executive producer on several projects, including major animated features. She was the former Head of Children’s Programmes at M6, the French private broadcaster from 1997 to 2009. Before joining M6, Natalie Altmann was Head of Development at Saban International Paris, where she supervised, from 1992 to 1997, the development and writing of numerous animated series for the French, European and international markets.

    Graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies, Natalie Altmann also holds a Master of Arts in Communication, from the Annenberg School for Communication (University of Southern California in Los Angeles).
