Biography

Cleia Almeida was born on November 24, 1982 in Coimbra, Portugal. She is an actress, known for Blood of My Blood (2011), Keep Me Company (2019) and So So (2012). She has been married to Gonçalo Lebre since September 21, 2014. They have one child.

Cleia studied in Coimbra, Portugal until the 12th grade. Then she moved to Lisbon and started studying theater. She completed her studies studying in Madrid, Spain.

Is an only child. Her parents are both doctors: her father is a plastic surgeon and her mother is a pediatrician. Her paternal grandfather was a doctor in a village near Aveiro who went to Brazil for many years and where he married her paternal grandmother from Santos, before he returned Portugal with his wife. Her maternal grandfather was a Director of the Hospital of Covilhã and both he and her maternal grandmother, with whom she lived for three years and now both deceased, were from there and lived there.

Since 2013 she has double Citizenship, originally Portuguese and acquired Brazilian, due to her Brazilian paternal grandmother.
