Ronald Allen was born on December 16, 1930 in Reading, Berkshire, England, UK. He was an actor, known for A Night to Remember (1958), The Projected Man (1966) and Doctor Who (1963). He was married to Sue Lloyd. He died on June 18, 1991 in Reading, Berkshire, England, UK.

British character actor, trained at RADA. Experience on stage at the Old Vic. In repertory theatre from 1953. Had a long television career with the popular soap 'Crossroads', as the hotel manager.

He spent two years in Hollywood under contract to 20th Century Fox in the 1950s.

He was in Channel 4's opening production of Five go Mad in Dorset.

Was the long-term partner of Brian Hankins for 27 years until Hankins' death. The two had met as students at RADA, and Allen helped nurse him as his life ended in 1978 from a brain tumour which had spread from a lung.

Husband of Sue Lloyd.
