Valérie Allain was born on April 3, 1966 in Saint-Raphaël, Var, France. She is an actress, known for Aria (1987), The Knight of Pardaillan (1988) and Les nouveaux tricheurs (1987).

Valérie Allain was known to thousands of American middle- and high-school students as "Mireille," the character she played in "French in Action"--a French-language instructional video series that aired on PBS in 1987 and then was played in French classes across America during the late 1980s and into the 1990s.
