Felipe Aljure is one of the most influential voices in Colombian cinema and a key architect of the country's contemporary audiovisual industry. For more than three decades, he has built an extraordinary career as a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, executive producer, cultural leader, and advocate for the growth of Latin American cinema.
Beyond filmmaking, Aljure has been instrumental in shaping the policies that transformed Colombia into one of the world's most attractive destinations for audiovisual production. He actively participated in the formulation and development of Colombia's most important film legislation, including Law 814 and Law 1556, regulatory frameworks that strengthened the national film industry and established internationally recognized incentives for foreign productions filming in Colombia.
