Kaufman's hit original cast production of Dinner at Eight which ran for 232 performances at the Music Box Theatre from Oct 22, 1932- May 1933. Alison was also starred in Kaufman's 1925 hit production of The Butter and Egg Man (243 performances) that was directed by James Gleason.
