Franco Alfonso(I)

Franco Alfonso is a Greek actor and pop singer who rose to prominence during the 1980s, becoming a familiar face in Greek cinema and television. He comes from a Greek-Italian family and was introduced to the film industry at an early age through his uncle, director Omiros Efstratiadis. Although originally encouraged toward a behind-the-camera career, his screen presence and talent led him to acting, where he quickly secured leading roles in a series of popular productions. He became especially associated with youth-oriented films of the era, including the comedy Arahtoi kai light (1994), and established himself as one of the recognizable young stars of Greek entertainment during the 1980s and early 1990s. In addition to acting, Alfonso pursued a career in music as a pop singer.
