Alexio developed a strong friendship with Jean-Claude Van Damme and the two made the film Kickboxer together. - During December the 6th 1992, Australian kick boxer, Stan "The Man" Longinidis broke his leg. The fight lasted six seconds before Alexio's shin bone was shattered in front of 10,000 fans as well as a further 3000+ watching the show live on closed circuit TV.
- Alexio was charged with two counts of bank fraud in addition to failing to pay child support on July 1, 2003.
