Richard Albain was born on March 14, 1923 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is known for A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985), Flowers in the Attic (1987) and The Mechanic (1972). He was married to Dolores G. Lepley. He died on May 29, 1999 in Van Nuys, California, USA.

In Just One Happy Family (1964), Endora sits on a box of butter in the refrigerator with the label of "Albain Butter - Distributed by Albain Creamery".
