- Barbara Adolph was born on June 8, 1931 in Schneidemühl, Prussia, Germany [now Pila, Wielkopolskie, Poland]. She was an actress, known for 12 Monkeys (1995), Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987) and Spider-Man 3 (2007). She died on June 19, 2026 in Berlin, Germany.
- During her acting training, Barbara Adolph received offers for supporting roles in film and television productions before making her stage debut in Greiz in 1952. Later, engagements followed in Gera, Karl-Marx-Stadt, and at the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
- Alongside her work as a stage actress, she became a popular actress in DEFA feature films during the 1960s, particularly in comedies.
