Biography

Joe Adelman was born on January 30, 1910 in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA. He was an actor, known for The Cool and the Crazy (1958), The Delinquents (1957) and Terror at Black Falls (1962). He was married to Sophia Greenberg. He died on April 3, 1991 in Overland Park, Kansas, USA.

Joe Adelman served on the Kansas City Police Department for 30 years, attaining the rank of Captain. He retired in 1975.

He was a 1931 Golden Gloves boxing champion, a professional wrestler, and an inductee (1986) into the Missouri Valley Weight Lifting Hall of Fame.

He was a member of AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), SAG (Screen Actors Guild), and AGVA (American Guild of Variety Artists).
