- He is best known for his work designing the lighting for captures of theatrical stage performances for digital cinema beginning with the first live Broadway Pay Per View of "Sophisticated Ladies" in 1982 and a great many of the subsequent Broadway digital cinema recordings. He has been the lighting designer and consultant for the "Live From Lincoln Center" series since 1996 and a primary lighting designer for the PBS "Great Performances" and "Dance In America" series since 1982.
