Jane Actman was born on April 6, 1949 in New York City, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for Wonder Woman (1975), Last of the Mohicans (1977) and The Invisible Man (1975). She was married to Gene Castle. She died on October 30, 2018 in New York, USA.

She played the role of "Nancy Lawrence Maitland" in the first two episodes of season 2 of Family (1976), but was replaced by Meredith Baxter-Birney, who had to re-shoot Actman's scenes for continuity, duplicating Actman's performance completely, both physically and vocally.
