Biography

Nicole Abisinio started her career in investment management, working in private equity and hedge funds for 6 years while simultaneously working as an actress. Her producing career was born out of the merging of both fields. She started working as a production accountant in NYC and then started to work in film funding as an EP for agencies and producers with packaged projects, bringing multi-million dollar deals to the table for films with actors including Terence Howard, Jack Black and Samuel L Jackson. This led to her interest in making her own independent features, where she finally found her niche.

Nicole Abisinio is a feature film producer for movies including R.A.D.A.R.: Adventures of the Bionic Dog, The Investigator (The Romano story), The Paramedic Who Stalked Me, Red Canyon, The Turnaround, Prime of Your Life, and Oloibiri (CD), which have garnered top ten at the box office in per screen average, top rated on network television and streaming, festival wins for best movie of the year, winner of the African Academy Award, plus star casts including Norman Reedus (Walking Dead), Dean Cain (Superman) and Justin Hartley (This is Us). Her films have been distributed by Sony, Netflix, Lionsgate, Tubi, Walmart Exclusives, Lifetime, Blockbuster, Regal and Cinemark. Nicole is also a Director and Writer and has worked in marketing on many studio films for their theatrical releases, including Hacksaw Ridge, I Can Only Imagine, Breakthrough, The Star, and Christmas Candle.

Nicole's niche is inspiring true stories, and representing emerging voices, with an emphasis on ethnic diversity and women in film. The family friendly detective series she wrote and directed, The Advocate, was top rated for 2023, both here and abroad.
