Upon leaving the VFX world Stephen was named a "Stephen King Approved Screenwriter" by Stephen King himself after adapting his short story "The Mangler" for New Line.
As a writer/director Stephen has won numerous awards at festivals around the globe. His latest indie darling "Flytrap is in worldwide release via Amazon Prime, Roku, Tubi, Google Play and Itunes. His music videos have been Short-listed for Video of the Year Grammy’s.
Stephen’s films have screened, won audience and jury awards at Cannes, ECU, The European Independent Film Festival, The Chelsea Film Festival, Worldfest Houston, Dances With Films, The Monaco Independent Film Festival, The Idyllwild Festival of Cinema, Festival du Film de Strasbourg, and The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.
