Robert Emmett Fitzsimmons is a multifaceted professional with a storied career spanning law enforcement, private security, and the performing arts. A retired officer from the New York City Police Department, Fitzsimmons dedicated years of service patrolling the streets of the Bronx, where he faced the daily challenges and dangers of urban policing with unwavering commitment. Won "Best Short Film Made in Florida Competition 1994" at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival for the "Confession" a story he wrote, produced and directed.

Emmett is an identical twin. Emmett wrote "10-13 Shots Fired: A Memoir which is the true story about the actual gun battle that took place in the 43rd Precinct, the Bronx, in which Emmett was awarded the New York City Police Department Combat Cross.
