Steven Schub is a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio and a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He has starred in or guest-starred on more than 25 films and television series, including portraying punk legend Dee Dee Ramone in CBGB and protest singer Phil Ochs in The Chicago 8, with guest appearances on shows ranging from 24 to Sesame Street.
Schub is perhaps best known for portraying the homicidal comedian son of Edward James Olmos and Maria Conchita Alonso in the critically acclaimed Sony Pictures Classics film Caught, directed by Robert M. Young, a performance that Entertainment Weekly called "an electrifying debut."
Beyond acting, Schub was the lead singer and lyricist for two touring and recording ska bands: New York's The Fenwicks and Los Angeles' HaSkaLA. Most recently, he returned to the stage in the nationally touring production of Václav Havel's Protest, continuing a career that has spanned film, television, music, and live theatre.
