Biography

In 1979 he's got a degree in Centro Sperimentale Cinematografia in Rome (IT) In 1983 he realized his first sport doc, as "Head of the River" winner at Turin Film Festival (IT). In 1986 he realized his first length feature "BlackTunnel" (in competition at Taormina film Festival 1989) (video home distributed by PlayTime) Federico Bruno started up his activity with Horizon film production company, and he realized, as a filmmaker, the length feature Cash Express" (1995) and the shorts "Miracle Sellers" (1995) (in competition at Berlin Film Festival in 1997), "Broken hearts" (1996- Pais Vasco-Unicef Price 1997) "Magic Box" (1996-Toronto film Festival). In 1998) he moved to Spain and realize a length feature "Bullfighter, between dream and reality"(competition at Madrid Imagen (2001) and the making of about the film "Goya in Bordeaux" by Carlos with Paco Rabal. He realize the documentary "A Day with Paco Rabal" (2001) In 2002 he realized in the south of Spain the biopic "Paco's Dream". In 2005 he realize the length feature "Rebel" and in Madrid the length feature "Crossing the Line". Returned in Italy Federico Bruno in 2012 realize the biopic "Pasolini , the hidden truth" and in the 2021 the length feature "Story without end".
