Jean Musy was born on 18 December 1947 in Levallois-Perret, Hauts-de-Seine, France. He was a composer, known for Les nouveaux chevaliers du ciel (1988), Beyond the Reef (1979) and L'amour en question (1978). He was married to Claire d'Asta and Laurence Matalon. He died on 26 April 2024 in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, Nièvre, France.
