- Björn Isfält was born on June 28, 1942 in Linköping, Sweden. He was a composer, known for What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), A Love Story (1970) and My Life as a Dog (1985). He died on January 17, 1997 in Enskede, Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden.
- For 30 years, he was one of Sweden's most prolific and respected film composers. Often he would play all featured instruments by himself, especially piano, guitar and flute.
