- Ennio Guarnieri was born on October 12, 1930 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He was a cinematographer, known for La Dolce Vita (1960), La Traviata (1982) and Brother Sun, Sister Moon (1972). He died on July 1, 2019 in Licata, Sicily, Italy.
- Guarnieri abandoned his studies and worked as an assistant cinematographer to Anchise Brizzi from 1949 to 1956.
- From the 1980s onward Guarnieri focused on television and advertising.
- During the seventies he offered his best performances in literary adaptations and period reconstructions for Mauro Bolognini ( Metello in1970, Bubù in 1971, Per le antiche scale in 1975 and L'eredità Ferramonti in 1976).
- He debuted as director of photography in 1962 with "I giorni contati" by Elio Petri.
- He worked with Aldo Tonti for La tempesta (1958) by Alberto Lattuada and with Otello Martelli for La dolce vita (1960) by Federico Fellini.
