Azura was only supposed to play the character "Cassie Newton" in a
single episode of
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997), but she
reprised the role later the same season when
Amber Benson
declined to return as the ghost of her slain character, Tara Maclay,
and the script was rewritten so that Cassie's ghost appears instead.
