Michael Penn is an American musician, singer, and composer.
Penn signed with RCA Records and released his debut album, March, in the winter of 1989.
The lead single, "No Myth," became an alt-pop hit in 1990 and lead to 4 additional critically acclaimed albums between 1992 and 2005.
In 1996 Penn was tapped by Paul Thomas Anderson to score his first two films, Hard Eight and Boogie Nights and by 2006 Penn focused solely on composition for film and television.
