Kimberly is about to start her fourth season on "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" for Disney+ as an Co-Executive Producer/Director. Last season, Kimberly directed episodes of Amazon's "With Love", Hulu's "How I Met Your Father", Netflix's "Boo, Bitch", and "Fantasy Island" for Fox. Kimberly has directed multiple episodes of the Freeform/UTV hit series "The Bold Type" and directed many multi-cams including "Carol's Second Act" for CBS, The Conners" for ABC, and "One Day At A Time" for Netflix.

Kimberly is both Mexican-American and Indigenous; her career defines her as a true utility player with a diverse resume covering hour-long drama, single-cam, and multi-cam comedies. She is now jumping into features after Orion put her musical, "Smile Now", into development with Plan B producing.

She has played the same character (Robin Scorpio) in four different series: General Hospital (1963), All My Children (1970), Port Charles (1997) and General Hospital: Night Shift (2007).
As a child, she sang background vocals on Martika's 1980s hit "Toy Soldiers".

Her "break" into film came at age five, when she was scouted as part of a break-dance crew at a local club. She was cast as a dancer in the legendary Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo (1984).
Her character, "Robin Scorpio", on General Hospital (1963) is one of the characters on daytime television who was played by the same actor from childhood to adulthood.
Won a Daytime Emmy at age 11, and at the time was the youngest actress to do so. (There have since been younger stars to win.)

My favorite was with Grant Putnam. I did a really cool scene. In fact, it was really scary - he killed my grandmother [Filomena] right in front of me. That was pretty freaky.
[When asked who on her cast she'd take with her car shopping] I'd take Maurice Benard (Sonny), because he seems to scare people even though he's the sweetest man ever. He's kind of like a big brother to me. He could come in and act like a mobster and scare them into giving me a good buy.
(When asked about her relationship with co-star Jason Thompson) We did hit off right away. I don't normally become friends with people I work with. Not because I don't want to but just because I have always kept work and my personal life separate. But we have become friends. I'm not much of a skater so hockey is out of the question!
(When asked if the rings she wore had any significance) Yes, actually. They represent every long-term relationship I've ever been in. After each break up, I bought myself a ring to remind myself of the good parts of the relationship and what I would like to improve in my next one...there are 3 so far...
