Biography

Suzan Hughes

Biography

  • Suzan Hughes is a producer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a background in film, business, and philanthropy. She produced "Fifteen Seconds Fame", which earned recognition at Cannes. Her work also includes building brands and supporting causes that help children and families.

Raised as an orphan and foster child, Hughes turned early hardship into a life defined by resilience, vision, and purpose. She was a court reporter and had her own agency. She went on to launch ventures including "Take 10 To A Better You" and "Rollermax", an innovative foam roller brand recognized in the fitness industry.

Philanthropy has remained central to her work. In 1994, she co-founded the Herbalife Family Foundation with her husband, Mark Hughes, founder of Herbalife. Together, they built a charitable legacy that has helped vulnerable children in more than 60 countries.

In 2019, she launched the Suzan Hughes Education Foundation (S.H.E.), focused on advocating for children in need and helping parents provide stronger guidance and support at home.

"Helping children and families has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life’s work," Hughes says. "I believe real change begins with care, guidance, and the chance for every child to feel seen and supported."
