- Jérôme Savary was born on June 27, 1942 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was a writer and actor, known for La fille du garde-barrière (1975), Le boucher, la star et l'orpheline (1975) and La périchole, la chanteuse et le dictateur (2000). He was married to Mona Heftre. He died on March 4, 2013 in Levallois-Perret, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
