Jiří Svoboda was born on 5 May 1945 in Kladno, Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia [now Czech Republic]. He is a director and writer, known for Zánik samoty Berhof (1984), Skalpel, prosím (1985) and Schùzka se stíny (1983). He has been married to Milena NiÞòanská since 12 October 1973.
