She had the nickname "One Take Jake" early in her career because she was known for getting things right in the first take.

Lisa Jakub lives a quiet life in Virginia with her husband Jeremy and their dogs.

Lisa has a degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia.

Previously lived in New Jersey with her husband, Jeremy Jones, subsequently moving to Virginia following her graduation from University. She does not have plans to return to acting. (June 2005)
