Sarah grew up in the UK and graduated York St. John University with a BA Hons in Drama, Film and Television in 1996.
She worked for Yorkshire Television, BBC and other independent production companies, as an AD for 7 years during which time she trained and worked as a scheduler and 1st AD with a BBC traineeship.
Sarah emigrated to New Zealand in 2003 and has since worked on various TV and film projects as a 1st and 2nd Assistant director.
She currently (2026) lives in the Wellington region of New Zealand and enjoys working in film television and commercials as a 1st AD.
