Biography

Kenn Scott is an actor, martial artist, and stuntman most well-known for his portrayal of 'Raphael' in the original 1990s live-action films Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, as both an action performer and animatronic suit performer respectively. In the first TMNT movie, Kenn is also credited as "Talkative Foot #2" for playing the "Fellow 'Chucker" foot soldier that battles Michelangelo with nunchakus. Kenn also starred in the worldwide martial arts cult hit Showdown, and kicked his way through martial arts thrillers Sworn to Justice and Recoil, he also appeared in Disney's Newsies and Full Moon's Doctor Mordrid. Kenn wrote and directed the underground cult favorite Adventures of Johnny Tao: Rock Around the Dragon. Kenn wrote all about his turtle adventures in the Amazon best selling book, Teenage Ninja to Mutant Turtle: Becoming the Reel Raphael (also available in audiobook narrated by Kenn Scott).

Started his martial arts training on his own, by practicing from martial arts books from the library. His father than offered to pay for his (Goju) Karate training, under the condition that Kenn would pay him back as soon as he'd ever quit. Of course he kept training and later competed nationally. Later he'd also train Kung Fu, Chinese Kempo, Tai Chi and Lima Lama. Kenn has a black belt in Karate.

There were more than a dozen foot soldiers in the first TMNT movie. Due to his skills, Kenn got promoted to a small group of lead foot soldiers that got featured in various action scenes. Due to this, Kenn played many more soldiers and scenes than credited, including the foot soldier in the nunchaku showdown with Michelangelo.

As a kid he was a soccer player, before turning to martial arts. He saw other people train, which started his interest in martial arts.

Works as a strategy and content marketing expert that helps small businesses and nonprofit organizations develop and maintain affordable, strategic marketing plans and tactics.

Graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television.
