In 1997 he recorded an album with remixed James Bond themes called 'Shaken & Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project'. He got some help from Pulp, Aimee Mann, the Propellerheads, Iggy Pop and others.

Trivia
Was highly recommended to producers to do the score for Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) by John Barry, composer of 11 James Bond films. Arnold went on to score five James Bond films in total, second only to Barry.
