Tim Atzinger

My passion for television and film took root early-first in basement puppet shows, then in dynamic tape-recorder productions starring neighborhood kids (and the family dog), followed by a milestone camcorder purchase in the mid-'80s that I still have and use today. That childhood fascination evolved into a full-fledged calling, leading me on a fantasy-fueled journey across the country to Hollywood, California.

Since earning my MFA from the USC School of Cinema/Television in 1996, I have built a career as a producer and Emmy Award-winning editor, specializing in documentary and reality television. Over the years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most influential producers in the industry-World of Wonder, Bunim-Murray, Mark Burnett, Next Entertainment, and Endemol, to name a few. These partnerships have sharpened my storytelling instincts and deepened my ability to craft compelling narratives that engage audiences on a profound level.

Now, as I continue evolving as a filmmaker, my focus is on expanding beyond the genre that has defined much of my career. My goal is to bring my editorial and storytelling expertise to more sophisticated and ambitious projects-scripted features, documentary films, and innovative new media formats. No matter the medium, my passion remains the same: to entertain, inspire, and tell stories that resonate.
