Bas Dumoulin started out as an editor for film and television in Holland.

In 1997, he directed his first short "The Bicycle," a children's film that played at over 35 film festivals (including the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, Carrousel International du Film de Rimouski and the Uppsala International Film Festival), six museums (including the MOMA New York and the Smithsonian in Washington, DC) and was sold to distributors in the US and several Asian countries.

Dumoulin is pursuing his MFA degree in film directing at Columbia University in New York, where he has written, directed and produced several short films. "Tomorrow Never Comes", his latest endeavor, depicts individuals making unorthodox choices to flee reality. This unconventional film tells an unsettling story that walks a thin line between the rational and the absurd.
