Melissa Lintinger is Head of Production Finance at Universal Television Entertainment Group, NBCUniversal, where she oversees more than $4 billion in production budgets for scripted and unscripted content across NBCU Television Studios. In this role, she leads high-caliber teams spanning Production Finance, Treasury, FP&A, systems, co-production, and tax incentives while serving as a trusted advisor to Production, Creative, Business Affairs, and Legal departments.
A transformative leader in entertainment finance, Melissa has spearheaded the industry's digital evolution, partnering with production teams to make NBCUniversal the first studio to adopt a fully digital, paperless production process. She manages teams of over 40 staff and 400+ local production personnel worldwide, focusing on value-added activities while streamlining operations and driving cost optimization through strategic location analysis.
Prior to NBCUniversal, Melissa held senior finance roles at Viacom Inc., where she served as Vice President of Continuous Improvement, and at BET Networks, where she was Vice President of Production Finance, Strategy & Innovation. At BET, she managed diverse programming portfolios, led digital transformation initiatives, and built high-performing finance teams across New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta while supporting 150% growth in content creation.
Her career spans from startup to major studio environments, including roles as CFO at Bombo Sports and Entertainment, VP Finance at Oxygen Media during its high-growth phase, and freelance production work on notable projects including Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues and various independent films.
Melissa holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, where she served as President of Arts & Media Managers, and a BS in Marketing/International Business from NYU Stern. She completed executive development at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
Active in industry leadership, Melissa serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Hollywood Food Coalition and is involved with Advancing Women Executives as a member, mentor, and speaker. She has received numerous recognitions including being named to the Top 100 Executives at NBCUniversal and LA Women of Influence Honoree.
