Christie Brinkley was born on February 2, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. She is an actress, known for National Lampoon's Vacation (1983), Jack and Jill (2011) and Vegas Vacation (1997). She was previously married to Peter Cook, Richard Taubman, Billy Joel and Jean-François Allaux.

Her first SPORTS ILLUSTRATED swimsuit issue cover was in 1979. She also appeared on the cover in 1980 and 1981, making her the first model to appear on 3 consecutive covers.

Other crash survivors were her friend, Sandra Ann Will Carradine, and Sandra's son, Cade Carradine. Cade was the last person rescued off the mountain.
