I moved to L.A. and I went into Playboy offices twice a week to get all departments to say I was available to work doing promotions. I became the #1 paid Playmate for about five years straight. It was my business while I took acting classes at night to segway into acting.

[how she ended up posing for Playboy] A photographer saw me and asked if he could submit me. At first, I did not know what Playboy was. I was very reluctant, so it took him a while to get me to agree, and finally, he submitted me with pics from an L.A. Gear campaign he shot me for. I did decide to do it because I thought "12 girls a year only, and I could be one of the very few."
