- Julie Ellen "Tawny" Kitaen passed away on May 7, 2021, three months away from what would have been her 60th birthday on August 5. She had been working with author and historian Colin Heaton on her memoir for the past year.
- Probably best-known as the sexy vixen in several music videos by the hard rock band Whitesnake in the late 1980s, along with her then-boyfriend, later husband, lead singer David Coverdale.
