Survival

The survival subgenre features narratives in which characters are placed in extreme and challenging situations where their primary goal is to survive against all odds. These situations can range from being stranded in the wilderness to facing natural disasters, natural accidents, or other life-threatening circumstances caused by their environment. Survival stories emphasize the characters' resourcefulness, resilience, and ability to adapt to their surroundings.
